Why we exist
Buying a racehorse is one of the highest-stakes decisions in sport. Thousands of lots, a few frantic days, incomplete information, and results that take years to reveal themselves.
Buyers rely on experience, instinct and hard work, walking the stable rows from dawn, marking up catalogues, trying to see every horse that matters.
We think that expertise deserves better tools. Bloodstock AI analyses the whole catalogue (pedigree, physical type, movement, value and risk) and puts a clear, structured picture of every lot in your pocket. Not to replace horsemanship, but to make sure it's pointed at the right horses.

From the stable rows to the forge to the code. The AI is built by the person under the horse.
Will has been around horses his whole life. He rode as a child, one of New Zealand's top young riders, and went on to work in the industry proper: a racing and pre-training stable at Byerley Park, handling thoroughbreds at every stage from breaking in to race fitness.
Today he shoes horses for a living. Soundness and biomechanics are in his hands every day, and he builds Bloodstock AI with the technical skills to match. The product exists because the person under the horse believed the industry's knowledge deserved better tools. The final call always stays with the horseman.

We're launching with New Zealand Bloodstock's Karaka sales: catalogue browsing, explainable AI reports, shortlisting and inspection tools. From there: more sales, deeper movement and conformation analysis, long-term tracking after the sale, and richer collaboration for teams and syndicates.

Bloodstock AI Limited is incorporated in New Zealand and based in the Waikato, heartland of the New Zealand thoroughbred industry. The platform is designed here, for the way our industry actually works, with Karaka as its first home.
